Santa Came To Town!!!

Salt Lake

Last weekend we took a little trip to Salt Lake to see the lights at Temple Square and get into the Christmas spirit. We had a great time and the lights were beautiful! The highlight of our trip was getting to see my parents. They were suppose to be in Las Vegas for the NFR and I called to make sure that they made it o.k. When I called they were at their hotel which was a block away from ours. They were actually taking their time getting to Vegas making a few stops on the way. It was so ironic that we all happened to be there and if I wouldn't have called we would have been a block away the whole time and never knowing it. So we met up for dinner and went to see the lights together. It was a lot of fun!!!

Fun, Fun and more Fun!!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! We started out by celebrating Rigden's first Thanksgiving at Nana and Poppa's house in Inkom.








Then on Friday we went to my Aunt's house in Bear Lake. My sister cut down a Christmas tree, we ate great food, and made homemade taffy with all the kids! Making taffy with my aunt every year has always been a family tradition, but we have been slackers the last few years so this was a wonderful treat! I forgot how HOT the taffy is. My hands still hurt!








Finally on Saturday we all got together with my dad's side of the family to make a wreath for our grandma and grandpas grave. This is another yearly tradition for Christmas. I wish that they were still here to celebrate with us! We all miss them so much!

Hilarious!!!!!!

Check out this slide show! It is laugh out loud funny! My friend Jamie posted some of her and her hubby on her blog and I loved it so I had to try! Everyone must do this! It's crazy because I look like my mom in one or two pics and Ben looks like one of my cousin's in one and he actually looks like me in one! HAHAHAHA! Enjoy!

Homecoming Game

Rigden went to his first homecoming game last week. We bundled him up good because it was cold! He fell asleep in the car and I had to take a picture because it shows just how bundled he was. He looks like he could barely move, but I promise he could!

Fish Fry

This last summer my folks went to Alaska on vacation. While there, they caught a ton of fish so a couple weekends ago we had a fish fry. I am not a fish person but it turned out to be really good!

Like Kim

Like Kim, I too have a confession to make. Neither Ben or I have Face book either. I really don't have the desire to get it, but I almost feel like I have to. Not only does everybody but Kim and I have it, I feel like a terrible friend when I get an email inviting me to be someones friend and I have to delete it. Why do I delete it you ask? Well because I can't view any ones face book because I don't have one set up. This really upsets me. It's like when your a little kid and your friends tell you that you can't play with them. At least with blogs you can stalk whoever you want without anybody knowing it or without having to set one up yourself. I looked at blogs for about a year before I actually started one of my own. I am seriously thinking about starting one just so I can see what other people are up to. I am not sure though so I need all you facebookers to tell me if I should start one or if it is over-rated.

Balance Rock

We decided to get out of the house today and go on a picnic. We went to Balance Rock. Rigden was fussy the whole time so it wasn't as enjoyable as we had hoped, but it was a nice drive!
I took a few pictures to show Rigden his first trip to Balance Rock.

P.S. The last time Ben and I went to Balance Rock he split my head open by hitting me with a rock(of course it was an accident)! :)

I LOVE YOU!

Today is our 4th wedding anniversary and I am so grateful that Ben has kept me around this long! He is the love of my life! Ben, thanks for being you and putting up with me! I LOVE YOU!

Splish Splash!

This is a little late, but we had to get pictures of Rigden's first bath. He takes after his mom in at least one thing...he loves to bath, except when daddy gets the soap in his eyes!

Cousins

When we got back from camping, Rigden met one of his cousins for the first time. Rye came to visit him. Rye is just 3 weeks older than Rigden and I think that they will be great pals!

First Family Camping Trip

About a week and a half ago Ben took us camping, hiking, and fishing in Stanley. We had so much fun! Rigden got to go on his first fishing trip with dad at only 2 weeks old! He did good and as you can see from the pictures, he had a good time! :)

My Little Helper

He was such a good little helper, but he wore out very quickly!

I HAVE ARRIVED!

I finally arrived on July 9th 2009 at 3:09 p.m. via cesarean. My doctors thought I was about 6 lbs so I really surprised everyone when I came out weighing 8 lbs 5 oz. I am 21 inches long and I am very cute! Something else that mom and dad figured out fast is that I am very loud and demanding. I met some relatives today and everyone loves me very much! Oh ya! I almost forgot to tell you that my name is Rigden Joshua.
