First Day of Spring

We spent the first day of spring at the farm riding horses and getting dirty. How did you all spend the first day of spring this year?

Donkey Basketball

Ben and I took Rigden to watch the Donkey Basketball fundraiser at the High School. It was funny and very entertianing, but my favorite part was not when the 1 teacher got bucked off the donkey, it was not when several others simply fell off the donkeys, nor was it when two of the donkey's relieved themselves right there on the basketball court. Nope! My favorite part was this:

At half time Rigden got to go down and pet one of the donkey's. His face lit up and he knew just what to do!

Slinky!!!!

My friend Tresa gave Rigden a slinky and he LOVES it. He has been flinging that thing all over the place. It is so cute to watch. I tried taking pictures but they are kind of hard to see.

Cousins!

Over the Christmas break my sister in law and I took our kiddos to have their pictures taken together. Rigden and Rye were soooo good! They are only 3 weeks apart in age and we think that they will be partners in crime for life!!!!

SLEIGH RIDING!

We started out the New Year by heading to the hills for some sleigh riding. Rigden really liked it! At 5 months old, his mom insisted that he was too little to go down but daddy thought that since he had his "crash helmet," that it would be O.K. He went down three or four times without any problems thank goodness! I guess there can be some perks to being stuck in a dumb helmet for 6 plus months!

Santa Came To Town!!!

Salt Lake

Last weekend we took a little trip to Salt Lake to see the lights at Temple Square and get into the Christmas spirit. We had a great time and the lights were beautiful! The highlight of our trip was getting to see my parents. They were suppose to be in Las Vegas for the NFR and I called to make sure that they made it o.k. When I called they were at their hotel which was a block away from ours. They were actually taking their time getting to Vegas making a few stops on the way. It was so ironic that we all happened to be there and if I wouldn't have called we would have been a block away the whole time and never knowing it. So we met up for dinner and went to see the lights together. It was a lot of fun!!!
